FULL PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Mosaic Masterminds, in partnership with 15 Pearls and a Promise, is proud to offer the Mosaic Promise Youth & Family Wellness Series, a free, grant-funded program serving current 6th–12th grade students and their families in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
This eight-session Tuesday series (6:00pm–8:30pm) is designed to address bullying prevention, mental health awareness, leadership development, and substance use prevention through a culturally responsive, family-centered approach. Youth and parents participate in parallel workshops held simultaneously, creating space for individual growth while strengthening the family unit.
Throughout the series, youth participants will engage in interactive learning experiences focused on:
- Education & Safety Awareness
- Skill Development & Healthy Peer Connections
- Healing & Personal Empowerment
- Bystander Intervention & Youth Leadership
- Emotional Regulation & Mental Wellness
- Substance Use Prevention & Delayed Onset Strategies
- Identity, Culture & Positive Peer Networks
- Capstone Project: Family Resilience Plan & Community Celebration
Parents and caregivers will participate in guided sessions designed to increase awareness, strengthen communication, and equip families with practical tools to support their child’s emotional well-being and decision-making.
The series culminates in the development of a Family Resilience Plan, empowering families with actionable strategies to sustain growth beyond the program.
The Mosaic Promise Youth & Family Wellness Series is committed to creating safe, supportive spaces where youth feel seen, heard, and valued, and where families are equipped to foster resilience, accountability, and long-term success.
