Professional development event offers five hours of training for early childhood educators
MUSKEGON, Mich. – Solutions Learning Group Foundation will host Refresh, Renew & Revive with Mr. Ty on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at The Folkert Community Hub and Banquet Center in Muskegon. The special event will feature nationally recognized child care advocate, speaker, and educator Tyheim “Mr. Ty” Clark, known to many as “The Childcare Whisperer.”
Designed for early childhood educators, child care providers, caregivers, and education professionals, the event will focus on educator wellness, classroom inspiration, leadership, and professional growth. Participants registered through MI-Registry will also be eligible to receive five hours of professional training.
Mr. Ty has become widely recognized for his joyful and passionate approach to early childhood education, including appearances on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” and his advocacy for greater representation within the field of education.
“Early childhood educators need opportunities to feel inspired and refreshed,” said Stephanie Marion, founder of Solutions Learning Group Foundation and lifelong early childhood educator. “Beyond teacher training, representation in education matters, and Tyheim Clark is an example of how dedicated early childhood professionals are breaking barriers and expanding visibility within the teaching community.”
The event will include motivational speaking, educator-focused discussions, a Q&A session, networking opportunities, and lunch for attendees. Organizers hope the event will encourage both personal and professional renewal for those working in early childhood education throughout West Michigan.
Refresh, Renew & Revive with Mr. Ty will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at The Folkert Community Hub and Banquet Center, located at 640 Seminole Rd. in Muskegon.
