Mary J. Blige has given her fans a double dose of excitement with her latest release. The legendary Queen of Hip-Hop Soul recently dropped her latest single “Still Believe in Love” featuring Vado, and just hours later released the official music video. The visually stunning video was co-directed by Blige and renowned director Eif Rivera, and was filmed on a yacht in a picturesque location in Italy. Throughout the video, Blige is seen wearing eye-catching jewelry and effortlessly singing the catchy tune on different parts of the yacht, while swaying to Vado’s impressive verses. “Still Believe in Love” has already made waves in the music industry, becoming the most added new song of the week with 30 additions, and climbing to 34th position on the R&B radio format chart. This latest release is Blige’s first proper single since 2021’s Anderson .Paak-featuring “Here With Me”. The song was nominated for Best R&B Performance at the recent Grammy Awards and peaked at No. 4 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart, and was part of Blige’s 2022 album “Good Morning Gorgeous (Deluxe).” ~ Doug D.
