Chief Operating Officer of Baxter Community Center, Sonja L. Forte is Grander Magazine’s Person of the Week. Forte, who was recently appointed to the role, has been with the Center for over seven years – serving in various capacities that focus on community relations, such as managing the day to day operations of its Market Place and its Greenhouse.
Forte is also the owner and curator of The Blaquebox, a subscription box service that “allows you to discover products sold by Black-owned businesses from across the globe,” and allows those products to be delivered to your door.
