Part online radio station, part entertainment publication, the City that never sleeps streams the best music for its visitors 24-hours a day while also presenting news, event coverage, and interviews with top artists and insiders from around the world.
Launched in 2020 by acclaimed publisher and content creator Doug Sims (Grander Media, Grander Magazine, Liquid Arts & Entertainment, Liquid Lounge Radio, Sims Photography), and business partner Blair Browne of Jalian Blair Entertainment, New Jazz City has welcomed such standouts as Nicole Henry, Najee, Tim Bowman, Lin Rountree, Phill Denny, Oli Silk, Lalah Hathaway, Eric Darius, Sy Smith, Shaun Martin (of Snarky Puppy), and Deon Yates, among others.
Sims, Browne and their New Jazz City team strive tirelessly to lift jazz to new heights for longtime listeners and introduce the music, its history and its creators to new young audiences. They give the genre and its representers the respect it’s earned and the gloss it deserves.
Behind the scenes New Jazz City develops relationships with performers of all levels, supportive venues, and record labels to respectfully promote the artists and the art they stand for.
Every jazz act has a story to be told and music to be heard. New Jazz City is telling those stories and sharing that music.
If you’re a lover, enthusiast, or follower of the historic jazz music culture, this is where you want to be. Welcome to New Jazz City!
