As Black History Month 2026 is here, I’m choosing to spotlight local to international Black photographers. Truth be told, we are the curators of visual history. We freeze time. We preserve moments that outlive generations. Through our lenses, stories are protected, truth is documented, and legacy is made visible. We are historians, creators, record keepers, and culture bearers—shaping how the world remembers us, sees us, and understands our power.
