The comedian steps in after Trevor Noah left his hosting position following a seven-year run.

Leslie Jones has taken over the desk at The Daily Show and has started as a guest host of the show this week.

According to CBS News, the Saturday Night Live alum has already started hosting the show formerly helmed by Trevor Noah this week after kicking it off on Tuesday (Jan. 17). She will be behind the desk on Wednesday (Jan. 18) and Thursday (Jan. 19).

“I’m not Jon Stewart. I’m not Trevor Noah; I’m Leslie Jones. So I’ll be bringing that vulnerable honesty,” Jones said. “No assignment to me is ever different. It’s always them asking for me. Pretty much what I come to deliver is me. So it’s not really too much different than when I used to do updates at ‘SNL’ or doing standup, you know? It’s all talking.”
