Amerie is back with her inspiring new single “Mine.”
She co-wrote this romantic ballad with the talented producer, Troy Taylor. “Something about you babe, I’ll make you mine / I’ll make you mine / Don’t want no one else / I’ll make you mine,” Amerie passionately sings in the chorus, encouraging us all to chase what we desire.
“Mine” is Amerie’s powerful comeback, bringing us new music since her 2018 EPs, 4AM Mulholland and After 4AM. This reflects her dedication to growth and artistry.
In November 2024, the “1 Thing” singer confirmed that she was back in the studio, channeling her creativity for a new album. She and Taylor are sharing their journey through studio sessions on Instagram Live, inspiring fans to pursue their passions.
The first song they recorded together, titled “Undeniable,” is just the beginning of their collaborative journey, previewed during an uplifting live broadcast.
“This record is called ‘Undeniable’ and it’s just the very beginning,” said Amerie. “We just wrote it and recorded it, and it didn’t even take a long time” to bring their vision to life.
Taylor added, “Working with Amerie is incredible because she invests her heart into every note, tone, and expression. She is fully dedicated to bringing the best out of every song.”
Amerie’s next album will mark her journey’s exciting chapter, following her first full-length project since 2009’s In Love & War. The project featured impactful collaborations with Trey Songz, Fabolous, and Lil Wayne, serving as a reminder of her continuous growth in the music industry.
